The Valdosta High School Wind Symphony’s 2027 Grand Tour represents an unprecedented season of musical excellence and national recognition. Following invitations to perform at the University of Georgia JanFest, the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) In-Service Conference, the University of South Carolina Band Clinic, and the Music for All National Festival in Indianapolis, the ensemble will showcase its artistry on some of the most prestigious stages in music education.
Under the direction of Travis Kimber, the Wind Symphony’s journey highlights the dedication, talent, and commitment of its student musicians while celebrating Valdosta High School’s growing reputation as one of the nation’s premier high school band programs.
